Black Women in Philanthropy Conference

It is important to note the data that reveals the inequities that exist for Black women in nonprofit management and philanthropy.

The landmark Pocket Change report revealed that out of the total $66.9 Billion that is given to women-led nonprofits, only 5% of that total goes to organizations led by Black women.

The Race to Lead study also demonstrates the obstacles for Black women working in nonprofit management. For example, more than a third of Black women (34%) said they often or always are paid less than peers for similar work.

Listen to leaders in philanthropy & nonprofit management share their lived experiences and discuss opportunities for Black women to continue to mobilize our resources to support one another & our communities.
