Black Nonprofit Love

We've witnessed in the last few months the challenges that Black women face in the workplace.  Dr. Claudine Gay's resignation from Harvard demonstrates that many workplaces can be toxic and traumatic. The stress from these environments can prove to be deadly in the case of Dr. Candia-Bailey, Dr. Epp, and Dr. Montague. We see this happen in not just academia or corporate America but the stress that occurs in nonprofit management is just as real.

Join the Reconciliation and Restoration Foundation as we create a safe space to discuss the challenges we face as Black nonprofit leaders and address solutions to support ourselves and one another as we make a difference daily in our communities.

The Reconciliation and Restoration Foundation was established in 2022 to support the growth of Black-led nonprofit organizations by brokering funding and capacity building services and working with organizations to ensure long-term sustainability and the promotion of social equity within the nonprofit sector focused in Texas, initially, with the goal of regional expansion to the Pacific Northwest, Deep South, and the East Coast.
