Conversations and Connections

Conversations and Connections was a networking event held during Black Philanthropy Month intended to foster open dialogue in a "speed networking" setting between local funders and nonprofit leaders. This event was created to provide funders with the opportunity to connect with nonprofit leaders, gain insight into their remarkable work, and understand the potential impact of their support; while allowing nonprofit leaders to maximize their impact.

Location: African American Museum Dallas 3536 Grand Ave. Dallas, TX 75210

Sponsored by: The Reconciliation and Restoration Foundation

The Reconciliation and Restoration Foundation was established in 2022 to support the growth of Black-led nonprofit organizations by brokering funding and capacity building services and working with organizations to ensure long-term sustainability and the promotion of social equity within the nonprofit sector focused in Texas, initially, with the goal of regional expansion to the Pacific Northwest, Deep South, and the East Coast.
