MOVING RESOURCES TOWARDS RECONCILIATION AND RESTORATION FOR BLACK-LED NONPROFITS.

Changing The Narrative To Philanthropy Done Equitably.

Partner with the Reconciliation and Restoration Foundation to Connect Financial, Social, and Human Capital into Community-based, Black-led Nonprofits.

Philanthropy. Done Equitably And Holistically.

“Black-led organizations remain underfunded compared to organizations led by white people. The revenues of Black-led organizations are, on average, 24 percent smaller than those of their white-led counterparts. And organizations led by Black women consistently receive less funding than those led by Black men or white women.” (Echoing Green and Bridgespan)

Black-led nonprofits and their leaders deserve better. Despite having long provided the social safety net within communities, Black-led organizations and leaders often lack the support needed to ensure long-term sustainability.

We invite funders to reconciliation and restoration through equitably investing in the chronically underserved. Beyond the critical work of moving money, we maximize your investments by pairing it with other critical supports to meet the needs of the Black leaders and institutions.

Partner with us to holistically address the needs of nonprofits, their leadership, and their long-term viability to impact the community.

Why Partner with Us

The Reconciliation and Restoration Foundation was established in 2022 by a group of deeply experienced and invested nonprofit leaders in supporting the growth of Black-led nonprofit organizations. The goal is to change the narrative of philanthropy from ‘resourcing’ to holistic support that offers reconciliation and restoration.

Let’s create hundreds of sustainable Black-led nonprofits across the country that are connected, sharing better practices, and impacting our communities positively as a result of their work. Our initial community-center hub will launch in Dallas, Texas in Fall 2022.

By brokering funding and capacity-building and wellness services, our leadership will directly support organizations toward long-term sustainability and social equity in Texas initially, with the plans for regional expansion to the Pacific Northwest, Deep South, and the East Coast over the next three years.
